Terms of Use
Last updated: October 26, 2026
1. Who we are
XplainrHub (xplainrhub.com) offers AI-powered apps that explain documents and answer questions in plain English, including the Xplainr Pro apps, PlanListGo (planlistgo.com), SEOXplainr and StudyXplainr. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean XplainrHub, and "you" means anyone who uses the site. By creating an account or using XplainrHub, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Who can use XplainrHub
- You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.
- If you are under 18, you may use XplainrHub only with the permission of a parent or guardian.
- LifeXplainr is for adults 18 and older. It offers general guidance about life and relationships, not therapy, counseling, or crisis support. If you are in crisis, call or text 988, or call 911 in an emergency.
- StudyXplainr is for high school students ages 14 to 18 (and the parents who support them). Students confirm their age, and that a parent or guardian knows they are using it, before their first question.
- Keep your login private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
3. Answers are written by AI, not professionals
Our answers are written by an AI model (Claude, made by Anthropic). AI can make mistakes, leave things out, or be out of date. Answers are for general education and understanding only. They are not medical, legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice, and they don't create a doctor–patient, attorney–client, or any other professional relationship.
- Always check important information with a qualified professional, such as your doctor, a lawyer, a financial advisor, or your teacher, before acting on it.
- In an emergency, call 911. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
- SEOXplainr gives general guidance about online visibility. It doesn't guarantee search rankings or business results.
- PlanListGo checklists are planning aids. Check deadlines, rules, fees and requirements with the official source.
4. StudyXplainr: honest learning
StudyXplainr explains and helps, but doesn't do your homework. It won't write essays, theses, reports or proofs for students, and it won't hand over the answer to a homework problem. Students are responsible for following their school's rules on academic honesty and on using AI. Using StudyXplainr to cheat is against these terms.
Parent access. StudyXplainr saves each student's questions and answers to their account. A student can link a parent or guardian (up to two) with a one-time code. A linked parent can read the student's saved questions and answers, and the parent's credits pay for the student's questions. Students are told about this before their first question. Either side can remove the link at any time, and students can delete their saved history.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use XplainrHub:
- for anything illegal, or to plan, carry out, or hide harm to yourself or anyone else;
- to harass, threaten, or exploit anyone, or to share someone else's private information without permission;
- to cheat on schoolwork or tests;
- to break, overload, scrape, or get around the site's security, credit system, or limits; or
- to upload content you don't have the right to share.
Please don't include passwords, account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive identifiers in what you submit. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
6. Credits and payments
- Most questions use 1 credit. Pre-written samples are free, and some follow-up questions are free, as shown in each app.
- Credits are bought through Stripe, our payment processor. Prices are shown before you pay.
- Credits don't expire, and they work across XplainrHub apps.
- If something goes wrong and an answer isn't delivered, the credit is returned automatically. For other billing questions, contact us at xplainrhub@pm.me.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of what you submit. You give us permission to process it as needed to provide the service: sending it to our AI provider to create your answer, and saving it where an app saves things (PlanListGo checklists and StudyXplainr history). See the Privacy Policy for details.
8. No warranty; limits on liability
XplainrHub is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise that answers will be accurate, complete, or right for your situation, or that the site will always be available. To the fullest extent the law allows, XplainrHub is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on its answers. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a significant change, we'll update the date at the top and, where reasonable, let you know in the apps. Continuing to use XplainrHub after a change means you accept the updated terms.
